Citizens for a Better Indiana is a political action committee registered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Comprised of Indiana County residents and those who live or work in the Borough of Indiana, we seek to encourage and support candidates for Indiana Borough Council who wish to foster a positive environment for our neighbors and businesses.

 

We believe that elected officials should:

 

• consider concerns of constituents before personal special interests;

• respect and uphold the rights of residents, businesses, and organizations;

• avoid enacting policies which negatively impact lives and livelihoods;

• be willing to communicate openly their opinions on issues;

• demonstrate fiscal responsibility for taxpayer monies;

• concentrate on providing updated infrastructure within the Borough;

• support and encourage the work of the police, fire, and emergency service departments;

• foster an environment of communication and cooperation regardless of political affiliation.
